say hello to the supercute kiato proctor!

The weekend’s basilika extravaganza (erm spellcheck?) was massively put in perspective by the arrival of the beautiful bundle above-nice work jez and miho!!!

That’s not to say saturday wasn’t a killer cause it sho’ the hell was. I took the first six (count ‘em six) hours, by which time I was starting to morph into the dj equilivalent of an ipod shuffle-it was getting pretty freakin random. Luckily ‘teacakes‘ (!!) trantom turned up calvary style and rinsed up the next 2 hours.

As a special ’summer’s almost here’ treat here is a tasty excerpt from the night. It’s all done live so some of the mixing is a bit ‘off-colour’, a few near misses but no full on car crashes (that was a bit later!).

All quiet on the basilika front this weekend, but sambalanco is rapping up for their busiest weekend yet (check the site for more deets)

Philly will be rocking his usual peerless selection at both gigs so check it out if you can. Talking of which I will be posting a second part of saturday’s session (the philly heat connection) which is all properly mixed and shit-early next week.
