Me and the missus got back from the NYC after having a great time hanging with Monkone (Waxpoetics etc) and DJ Emskee (http://www.myspace.com/djemskee) at their brilliant night (Black Betty, Brooklyn) and their radio showWBAI 99.5fm . Will put up photos soon, lost my phone out their so i had to go back to the old school camera, so developing photos as we speek and will scan them in. Seeing Monk and Emskee mix up all the styles and especially mixing disco was amazing, these guys are knowledgeable and also have the geat talent of making a track you think is weak, edit they did not play any weak tracks, ok sound amazing through the power of the mix. Total respect to these guys and G Man their compadre.

I have some DJ Emskee mixes he gave me so if anyone wants a copy give me a shout and i’ll do them a burn.  Quality all the way.

Cant make Basilika Elbow rooms for a while so will be saving all my heavy hitters to unleash over a marathon set at some point in the future.  I am sure you will be treated to some crackers from Long hair and the crew so enjoy. Good to see Fire Music up and running,

Beat diggin out their was interesting, it was nice to put a face to the name of shops like Sound Library etc, and picked up a few nice bits but things were not as cheap as i thought they would be and i did not have time to properly dig. I think going over with the boys to soley dig would be amazing and you would unearth some dope tracks.

 just trying to recover after working 7 days in a row and playing a models party last night, damm this dj’ing shit is hard, so looking forward to sitting back and listening to some Outlaw albums i bought, check them they’re heavy.
