I was playing at the brb last night (nice selection, got  a little bit left towards the end) and one of the guys asked me if I had any joy division ( it was during the left bit-I was playing a slightly self indulgent SUPERMAX tune)-he told me that his favourite tune ever was ‘new dawn fades’, which I misheard as ‘new dawn phase’ which is the probably best name for a song I’ve ever heard and I am going to use . Anyway all this leads neatly onto the weekend’s entertainment which primarily involves me djing with Simon "Faze Action’ Lee (what a link!) at the mighty Sambalanca. Dj Christophe is in Krakov (there are so many jokes just begging to be used here-but I can’t think of any)-so I’m providing the disco back-up (that sounds a bit wrong!)-anyway Saturday night at the Funky Munky in Camberwell,9-3.30, loads of exclusives and usually basilika shenanigans-plus the first ever airing of brubekk-earthshaker (the brubekk meets jaksoul downtown edit)-if I get the mother finished.

It’s a banker.
