October Revolution
It’s been a while since we’ve posted, life at basilika towers has been hectic. The main focus has been revolution.
October revolution is a preview mix of new firemusic artists. You can read more about the concept behind it on firemusic website. To get a copy you have to come down to the basilka night, but it will also be available to download soon.
As a taster here is a track from Joseph Quaid called ‘Metamorphases’.
The piece is a heavy,detroit edged beat; moody and introspective. Based around a simple, hypnotic refrain the piece gradually builds. A distorted flute solo adds an edgy jazz sound that underscores, yet fights against the rythum.
The artist, ‘Joseph Quaid’ is exploring the far reaches, whilst holding onto the essential soufulness within his music.
